Remember

I try to remember what it was like and I fail.
I want to remember. I want to know how I was. I want to know what I was.
I want to know who you were.
Why I stayed and why I left.
Why I loved and why I stopped.
I want to remember but I can't.

Was it a dream? Was it real?
Or was it a nightmare?

The life I have now is all I know.
