Words said to a married friend of mine this morning on msn....she really liked them, so I thought I should post them here:
It is not a war....it is a lifetime of sharing and love....it doesn't matter who is stronger than who....you will be strong in a way and he will be strong in a way...the key is to complete each other, not compete with each other....

I hate to argue everytime I visit your blog but it's not about completing each other. You can't have a successful relationship unless you first feel complete in yourself.
Marriage is about trying to build a life together without either one of you losing your identity or your personal space. And that's not easy. It's a very delicate balance. It takes a lot of practice to stop falling over on either side of the rope.
